Meet Tate Sutton
Tate Sutton is local to Fairhope, Alabama. She lives on Fish River with her Frenchie, Leo. Tate is an RYT 500, health coach, retreat leader, and wellness innovator. She views health as a path of true healing. Her purpose is to show others they have the power to create a thriving life they deserve to live. She guides people to walk their own true path, prioritize peace in present, and discover a life of purpose. Everyone deserves to be seen and live a life with meaning.
Tate graduated from the University of Alabama in May 2012 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management and Event Planning. She spent some time in Panama working with eco-tourism and TEDX: The Jungle. She went on to serve in Peace Corps Indonesia as an English teacher.
Upon her return to the US, Tate moved to Los Angeles working as a content creator, focusing on fashion and travel. During that time, she co-hosted LA Fashion Week and many other events, sat front row at New York Fashion Week, hosted a meet and greet at Rebecca Minkoff Melrose, went to Formula-E Saudi Arabia, worked with fun brands, and so much more.
Tate had back surgery, a lumbar discectomy due to a herniated disc and sciatica, and decided to leave LA in 2017. She continued to travel the world, falling in love with different places and different cultures, like Thailand, Belize, Belgium, and Slovenia just to name a few. She even lived briefly in Hamburg, Germany and Yorkshire, England around 2019-2021.
After choosing to look in the mirror to re-evaluate her purpose in life, Tate made the decision to take responsibility for her actions and to change her life in March 2021. She started a consistent meditation and movement practice, created a positive relationship with herself, found her purpose, and started living the life she had always imagined.
In January 2022, Tate went to Lake Atitlan, Guatemala to complete her 200 hours Yoga Teacher Training Course with Sacred Paths Yoga. She went on to complete her 300 hours Yoga Teacher Training Course in Rishikesh, India in May 2023 with Hari Om Yoga Vidya. Since then, Tate has guided over 1,000 hours of yoga classes.
